This position is based in an open plan office in Headquarters

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Transactional Team within the wider Finance Department. The successful candidate will be hardworking and enthusiastic, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the service. You will be a collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude, demonstrating consideration and support for colleagues in line with our core values.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly using Technology1 finance system.

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers.

  • Processing weekly Accounts Payable payment run to suppliers.

  • Maintaining multiple email inboxes and respond to queries promptly.

  • Raising invoices to customers.

  • Liaise with suppliers to deal with purchase order queries, obtain quotes and review requisitions where necessary.

  • Reviewing the main bank account transactions and assist with loading the transactions into the finance system.

  • Work collaboratively across the finance team.

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.

Essential requirements of the role include:

  • GCSE Mathematics at grade C or above

  • A minimum of relevant A Level education or equivalent Finance experience

  • Experience of working in financial environment

  • Experience of working to deadlines

  • Experience of working in an accounts payable / receivable environment.

  • High level of ICT Literacy

  • Use of Spreadsheets

  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills

  • Good communication skills, written & verbal
