Starting salary of £16,289 pro rata per annum. FTE salary banding is Scale 6, £32,578 - £34,811 / £16,28 - £17,406 pro rata per annum.

An opportunity has arisen within the Service Delivery department for a professional and enthusiastic individual to deliver a comprehensive and effective service to both internal and external customers. The main purpose of this role is to support the Workforce Planning Systems Lead in administering and maintaining the Gartan workforce planning systems, including electronic rostering, on-call availability and payroll modules. You will play an important part in supporting operational readiness, maintaining accurate workforce data and helping managers make informed resourcing decisions.

 Duties of this role will cover/ include monitoring and managing

  • Administering the workforce planning systems (Gartan) used to manage operational staff availability to ensure that sufficient personnel are scheduled to be on duty at each station location and that an accurate database of employee working locations is maintained.

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff relating to issues and queries.

  • Manage the levels of system access and user permissions for the Gartan workforce planning systems to ensure security and integrity of the systems.

  • Collate information relating to the Officers rota on a monthly basis and populate a master rota making any changes necessary.
