Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel water jet to extinguish a fire involving the roof space of an outbuilding measuring approximately 30 square metres. A thorough check of the main building was carried out and there were no signs of it having spread. Crews were at the scene for more than three hours and the building was re-secured. Anyone with information about how the fire may have started should call Cheshire Police on 101.
