One fire engine from Frodsham and one from Powey Lane
Details
Crews were called to reports of a large amount of smoke coming from woodland. On arrival they found an area measuring 50 metres by 50 metres on fire. They used beaters and water backpacks to put out the fire and were at the scene for just over two hours.
