UPDATE AT 21:30 | Shortly after 19:40 multiple fire engines were deployed to reports of a large fire involving exterior plant machinery spreading to the structure of adjacent industrial premises. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have tackling the fire from the exterior using main jets and hose reel water jets, while other entered the building with thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots. Just before 20:30 attendance was reduced to three fire engines and the aerial platform.
UPDATE AT 23:30 | Attendance has now been reduced to two fire engines and the aerial ladder platform with crews monitoring for hotspots. They expect to remain at the scene for another two hours.
UPDATE AT 01:50 | The incident was closed and crews returned to their stations.
