Crews were called to a fire in a mid-terraced property in Winsford.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and a high-pressure fan to clear the smoke.
A neighbouring property also had to be ventilated of smoke.
A fire investigation determined the cause to be accidental and is believed to have been an electrical fault.
