Update at 11:54: Firefighters are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the M6, north, between Junctions 18 to 19. Initially a full closure of the carriageway took place, however two lanes were then reopened to allow traffic to flow. Please try to find alternative routes if possible while the incident is ongoing. Update at 12:15: Firefighters assessed one casualty who was medically trapped in their vehicle. One vehicle carrying printer ink suffered a small leak so crews used environment equipment to stem the leak and then blocked nearby drains to ensure no fluid entered them. The spillage control was then handed over to National Highways staff on scene. Once released the casualty was passed into the care of waiting paramedics who transported them to hospital. Update at 14:00: Police were also on scene and firefighters left at approximately 12:40pm Update
