One fire engine from Runcorn and one fire engine from Penketh
Details
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a room in a domestic property in Runcorn. They deployed in breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire, that is believed to have been caused by cooking that had been left unattended. A large fan was used to clear smoke from the building. All persons were accounted for.
