Overturned trailer following road traffic collision on M6

Details

Fire crews attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one of which was towing a trailer, which resulted in the trailer overturning and coming to rest in lane 4 of the southbound carriageway. Thankfully, no one was trapped following the collision. Firefighters worked alongside Highways and Police to assist in the safe recovery and relocation of the overturned trailer. All lanes of the motorway were temporarily closed to ensure safe working conditions. North West Ambulance Service was also in attendance to assess the drivers of both vehicles.
