Three fire engines from Sandbach, Crewe and Middlewich

Crews were called to a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the M6 South.
Police, paramedics, and National Highways were also in attendance at the scene, and a full closure of the road was put in place while the incident was dealt with.
Firefighters made sure all vehicles were safe. Crews assisted two casualties, who were medically trapped, from one vehicle before handing them into the care of paramedics. A third casualty was also attended to by paramedics on-scene.
