Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars in Malpas. The road was closed by police while the incident was dealt with. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor both vehicles.
No persons were trapped. One casualty was given initial first aid by firefighters before being handed over to the care of paramedics, who then transported the casualty to hospital. The incident was then handed over to police.
