Crews were called to help a 13-year-old horse, Rosie, after she fell into a brook in Tabley.
The animal rescue team from Knutsford used specialist equipment to safely secure the horse before pulling her out of the water to the safety of the embankment.
Rosie was checked over by her owner and was found to be in good general health, walking around before being returned to her stable.
