Crews were called to a fire involving a vehicle towing a wood chipper.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus acted quickly to prevent the wood chipper from igniting and used water from a nearby hydrant to extinguish the fire.
Crews remained on the scene to monitor temperatures using a thermal imaging camera and support the recovery of the vehicle with police and highways colleagues.
