Firefighters were called to reports of a smoke alarm sounding in Middlewich. Upon arrival, firefighters used a high-pressure fan to ventilate the property of smoke, believed to have been caused by burnt cooking.
A gas monitor was used and found low readings of carbon monoxide levels in the property. All persons were accounted for, and paramedics transported four people to the hospital for precautionary checks.
