Three fire engines from Frodsham, Penketh and Widnes
Details
Crews were called to a fire in a disused building in Runcorn.
On arrival, firefighters found a well-established fire and began tackling the blaze externally with a hose reel jet.
As smoke started to push from the building, firefighters put on breathing apparatus and utilised a second hose reel to assist with firefighting.
The fire was extinguished, and crews worked to dampen down the premises and monitored hotspots using a thermal imaging camera.
