Crews were called to a fire in a house in Chester. On arrival, firefighters discovered a fire on the first floor of the house, with all persons accounted for.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus began tackling the fire using two hose reel jets and a covering jet. The fire was extinguished, and crews inspected the property and roof space for signs of fire spread.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the premises. This is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
