Crews were called after smoke alarms could be heard sounding at a house on Totland Grove. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered a property filled with smoke with a covering jet. There was no fire, but the smoke logging is believed to have been caused by unattended cooking. A full search of the house was carried out, but no one was thought to have been home at the time. A high-pressure fan was used to clear the property.
