One fire engine from Chester, one from Ellesmere Port and one from Tarporley

A call to a fire on the third floor of a mid-terraced property was attended by firefighters, who found everyone inside accounted for. They used a hose reel to put the fire, which involved a chair, out. A high pressure fan was used to remove smoke from the property. Paramedics also attended and crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 20 minutes. It is believed the fire was started accidentally.
