Details
Fire crews were called to reports of black smoke emitting from a disused building. On arrival, it was confirmed that there was a fire on the ground floor and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus took a hose reel jet in to extinguish and investigate. There was also a fire on the first floor, so crews used a 10-metre ladder to gain access from the outside. Searches were carried out and concluded that there was no one inside the building. The thermal imaging camera was used to ensure there were no further hot spots, and firefighters cleared the smoke.
