Three fire engines from Lymm, Knutsford and Middlewich

Crews were called to a vehicle fire on the M6. On arrival, firefighters found the rear wheel of a trailer well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, and the trailer was detached from the towing vehicle as a precaution. Three lanes of the motorway were closed while the incident was dealt with.
