One fire engine from Warrington, one from Penketh and one from Warrington
Details
Firefighters extinguished a vehicle that was well alight on the hard shoulder. Lane one was closed while the crews used a hose reel to put it out. They then checked the vehicle for hot spots of fire using a thermal imaging camera and were in attendance for approximately 55 minutes. Paramedics also attended along with Highways Agency.
