Details
Firefighters were called to a report of a fire in a terraced property on Fairbrother Crescent, Warrington.
Upon arrival they found a fire involving the ground floor kitchen of one property. Fire and smoke was also spreading to a neighbouring household through the connecting roof void.
Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked across both properties, using hose reel jets to put the fire out. Large fans were then used to clear smoke out of the buildings.
Seven people were suffering from smoke inhalation, with six transported to hospital by attending paramedics.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
