Throughout the night, attendance has included fire engines from: Tarporley, Malpas, Nantwich, Audlem, Chester, Alsager, Winsford, Middlewich and Congleton, along with support from the Welfare Support Unit from Penketh.

Crews are currently in attendance at a barn fire in Nantwich involving hay and straw, with the fire having breached the roof on arrival. Firefighters removed cattle from nearby barns as a precaution. Working throughout the night, 5 hose reel jets have been used to get the fire under control, and thermal imaging cameras have been used to monitor for hotspots throughout the premises. Crews are continuing to turn over and dampen down the fire and surrounding area, with water being shuttled to the scene. Good progress is being made. Police have been informed, as the fire is believed to have been started deliberately. At 08:43, this incident has been reduced to two fire engines. Update at 14:35 | Firefighters have removed the hay from the barn, and are continuing to dampen down both internally and externally using a hose reel jet.
