Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire in Sedgemere Avenue, Crewe. On arrival they found a campervan which was well alight and risked affecting the adjacent property.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to tackle the fire. They then used a thermal imaging camera to check the loft space of the property for hot spots, as well as utilising a seven metre ladder to visually inspect the eaves and fascias for signs of fire.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental due to a faulty jack motor.
