Crews were called to reports of smoke issuing from a trailer in Widnes.
On arrival, firefighters used two short extension ladders to access and inspect the trailer, but no signs of fire were found. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for any hotspots, and none were detected.
The smoke was determined to be steam, and the driver was able to continue their journey safely.
