Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish a fire in a house in Crewe. A high-pressure fan was then used for ventilation.
A full search of the property and those neighbouring it was conducted to check for signs of fire spread.
One casualty was given initial first aid by firefighters before being handed over to paramedics.
