Firefighters were called to reports of black smoke in a field in Chester. On arrival, crews discovered a fully developed fire involving one car.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Police were informed, as this is believed to have been lit deliberately.
