Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a small fire in the engine compartment of a car in Crewe. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.
One lane of the road was closed while the incident was dealt with, and the incident was handed over to police. This is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
