Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving a van, which had collided with a tree and landed on its side, in Gawsworth. Firefighters kept a covering jet on hand as a precaution while dealing with the incident. One casualty who was medically trapped within the van was rescued and handed into the care of paramedics on scene, who transported them to hospital. The incident was then handed over to police.
