One fire engine plus the all-terrain vehicle from Macclesfield
Details
Firefighters attended a grass and heather fire affecting an area of approximately 500 square metres.
Crews used backpacks, beaters and lances on the all-terrain vehicle to tackle the fire and create a fire break to stop it from spreading further.
The fire was brought under control and confirmed extinguished. The incident will remain open, with crews scheduled to return tomorrow morning (11/03) to reinspect the area.
