Two fire engines from Middlewich and Holmes Chapel
Details
Firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from a flat in Chester. Crews wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and located a small fire in the kitchen, caused by plastic materials left on the hob. The fire was extinguished, and a smoke curtain and high‑pressure fan were used to clear smoke from the flat.
One casualty was treated at the scene by paramedics and received oxygen therapy.
