Firefighters were called to a fire involving a chip pan in a kitchen in Ellesmere Port.
The fire was out on arrival, and firefighters provided initial first aid to one casualty who was suffering from burns.
The casualty was handed into the care of paramedics on scene, who took them to hospital.
