One fire engine from Middlewich, supported by a relief crew from Winsford
Details
Firefighters were called to a large tree that had fallen across a roadway in Winsford and impacted overhead cables.
The road was closed by crews, who remained at the scene overnight. The utility company attended and made the cables safe.
A tree surgeon is now in attendance to remove the tree. The road remains closed.
UPDATE | The tree has been removed and the road was reopened at approximately 09:45am.
