Crews were called to a bus with an overheated engine compartment on the M6 South. A hose reel jet was used to cool the compartment and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. All persons were out of the vehicle prior to firefighters' arrival.
The hard shoulder and one lane of the motorway were closed by police while the incident was dealt with.
