Police put a full road closure in place while emergency services dealt with a four-vehicle road traffic collision.
All occupants were out of their vehicles prior to fire service arrival and are not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
Firefighters made one of the vehicles safe and monitored another with a thermal imaging camera - all readings were normal.
The incident was closed after one hour.
