ONGOING | Firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire involving a piece of machinery and a skip at a commercial premises in Middlewich. Update at 10.20 | Crews were called to a fire involving a piece of machinery and a skip at a commercial premises in Middlewich , both of which were well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are usingtwo hose reel jets to bring the fire under control. To improve access, firefighters cut a hole in the side of the skip, which was then moved away from the building. Its contents have been removed and thoroughly dampened down. The premises was fully evacuated and all persons were accounted for. Firefighting operations are still taking place.
