Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in a kitchen in Widnes.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots throughout the property and those neighbouring it.
A high-pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the premises.
All persons had evacuated the property prior to fire service arrival, and all were accounted for.
