Just after 2pm, North West Fire Control received multiple reports of a fire on Hale Road in Ditton.
On arrival, firefighters found that there was a fire involving disused building that was well alight. They used a main jet, hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
A fan was used to remove smoke from the building and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots while dampening down.
