Two fire engines from Crewe, one fire engine from Congleton, one fire engine and the Environmental Protection Unit from Runcorn, as well as one of our four weekday fire engines.
Details
Firefighters were called to a large goods vehicle that was leaking diesel due to a ruptured fuel tank. Firefighters used specialist paste to seal the leak, with hose reels on standby. The drains were protected to prevent any run off. Two lanes of the road were closed and the incident was handed over to National Highways.
