Firefighters are in attendance at a fire on farmland in Burton, near Neston. The fire involves approximately 200 tyres and a further 150 hay bales, covering a combined area of circa 300 square metres.
Firefighters are making good progress tackling the fire using main jets. Crews are setting up a water relay to feed more water supplies onto the fire.
Nearby residents and premises are advised to close windows and doors if affected by smoke, due to a large smoke plume.
