Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a tree. To improve access to the scene, crews used small tools to remove sections of a barbed wire fence. A safety cordon was established and managed jointly by police and firefighters. Following a multi-partner consultation, firefighters removed the roof of the vehicle and successfully rescued the casualty, who was then handed into the care of paramedics.
