Five fire engines from Chester, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, and Tarporley

Crews were called to a grass fire in the open covering an area of approximately 200 metres by 200 metres.
The incident was divided into sectors, and firefighters used three hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby fences and properties.
Thermal imaging cameras were used throughout the incident to monitor temperatures, with any hotspots identified and dampened down using a hose reel jet.
