One fire engine from Chester and one fire engine from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service

Firefighters were called to a grass fire on the central reservation of the A483 dual carriageway, near Chester. Police were also in attendance and closed the northbound carriageway while crews extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
A rolling roadblock was in place while Cheshire and North Wales fire crews carried out checks down the central reservation to dampen down any further hot spots.
Fire crews were in attendance for just under one hour.
