Three fire engines from Widnes, Runcorn and Warrington

Crews were called to a fire on the ground floor of a house in Runcorn. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used two hose reels, with a covering jet in place, to extinguish the blaze.
A high-pressure fan was then used to ventilate the property.
All persons were accounted for. Police also attended the incident, as the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
