Crews were called to an item of machinery that was well alight at an commercial site in Warrington.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.
Police were also in attendance.
