Firefighters attended a field fire involving hay bales covering an area around 15 metres by 30 metres.
Crews used hose reel jets to tackle the fire. The farmer had already created a fire break using on-site machinery to prevent the fire spreading across the field.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and worked with the farmer to spread out the hay bales so that hotspots could be extinguished.
Crews remained at the scene for a short time to dampen down the area.
