Crews were called to a cow stuck in a river in Northwich. Firefighters entered the water and secured the cow using a line before carefully guiding it downstream on a raft to a suitable extraction point. The cow was then safely pulled onto the riverbank using a telehandler and was handed into the care of the farmer and a vet for assessment.
