Firefighters are currently at the scene of a fire on Dunstan Lane in Neston. The fire involves a large hedgerow with multiple seats of fire.
Update at 17:00 - crews are using hose reel jets to bring the fire under control and dampen down any affected areas.
Update at 17:45 - firefighters are continuing to dampen down. The incident will be reduced to three fire engines shortly.
Update at 18:00 - the police drone has been used and its thermal imaging has found no hotspots. A fire investigation has taken place and the fire is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.
