Three fire engines from Powey Lane, Ellesmere Port and Chester

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel water jets to tackle a significant fire involving a domestic garage with attached to single storey property. The fire spread to two cars and a heating oil tank, and part of the bungalow itself. All persons were accounted for. Crews were at the scene for three hours. It is believed that the fire started as a result of an electrical fault.
