Two fire engines from Wilmslow and Lymm, and one fire engine from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service

Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars on the M56. One vehicle was well alight, while the second vehicle had overturned onto its roof.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and one casualty, who was trapped in the overturned vehicle, was rescued and stabilised before being taken to hospital.
All persons involved were accounted for.
